Le Forbidden City Day
in Chinese we call it 紫禁城 [zi jin cheng]
This is the place that I only get to see it on Tv before especially HK dramas, and now I'm leaving my footsteps there and to witness such an impressive historic site of GREAT CHINA

Guess what are they doing? hahaha~because of the freezing weather we can actually see our breath but too bad I've failed to snap it down xP

My mom and I :)

Here we are~we're entering from the back door of the palace. According to the local tour guide, this is know as the Dragon's tail, from here we will keep on walking and travel throughout the 龙脉 Dragon's vein?? NO KIDDING it's so so so so so DAMN HUGE!!! it's like....10 airports? [maybe bigger than that]

*Every corner in the palace is a piece of artwork*

Trees with this particular red tag are actually 300 years and above, like...I wonder what if someone chopped it down? That's a moron and people will throw rocks at him xD I'm so loving the trees in China, so dry so bug-less, zero insects and they are always part of the scenery :)

This is one of my favourite trees, it's name is龙爪槐~really does look like Dragon's claw right??

Spot this cross-over tree? according to legend they were plant by the last emperor of Dynasty-Ching which was 溥仪[puyi] and his wife, symbolizing 常相厮守, means...erm just copy and paste then google it if you wanna know what does it mean :P Overall this is the ONLY romantic thing I've seen in the palace.

For your information, all the above pictures are from 御花园
now let's go somewhere else hahas~

 坤宁宫 - 明代为皇后寝室,清朝时就被用作为皇帝大婚的洞房
Now I see, always heard this word on Tv but dunno who lives inside there :P

Nice tree :)

Some random wall, izzit made up of jade?? [idk because I'm not paying attention to what the tour guide said hahaha]

Really really HUGE white crystal, when you saw this thing in the palace which means you're somewhere near to the queen's and some imperial concubine's room.

and there were snow at some corner, AMAZING! even we dun feel cold anymore~

my family never play jump shots before so it was now introduced by me and everyone's jumping everywhere xD

my dad is like a panda so he cant jump XD

and now I'm at the Dragon's stomach~woohoo~see how tiny am I in this place *.*

I dunno why in this shot, my brother makes me feel like he's from outer space~freshly being release by the UFO xD

WARNING: 18sx
Who said China people carries traditional thinking? See how OPEN-MINDED are they!! I was like...Go get a ROOM~it's kinda weird to me to have romantic kisses in this such a place and they are so YOUNG, for my age I might sound old for them LOH" Sorry that I disturb you guys, opps~China banned blogspot as well so you wont get to see it haaaaaaaaaaa xD

Damn NICE leh wei this scene!

Okay time's UP! let's leave

This is how the front looks like, with Mr. Mao's big cliche portrait on it :P

Infront of the Forbidden City is already TianAnMen Square, in Chinese 天安门广场. According to the tour guild, this place can fit in 10 million ppl...if I'm not mistaken HAHAHA~can it fit in the entire Singapore citizen? hmmmmmm...FAILED GEOGRAPHY!! I'm not sure about the figures, just wanna tell that it's really REALLY HUGE for serious!

Then walk ha walk ha...we reach a place call the national theater thing? erm forgotten what's the full name but what attract me is the building, AN EGG!! In Chinese people call it 巨蛋,有巢就自然有蛋Very matching with the Olympic Bird Nest thing :O

But then we drop by to take pictures only...
and there's LOTS of thing you're not allow do there, a list of symbols~perhaps it has the most symbols I have
ever seen in a sign board.

After some lunch, really yuckieee lunch >< [travel by tour really sucks coz you need to wake up early and they will keep bring you to dunno what restaurant that they could get commission] we went to the temple where dunno which emperor visits haaaaaaaaa...dunno call what 天坛花园 the heaven's garden? I'm so not paying attention, thanks to the awful lunch :P
My bro's alien hand, slim slim long long...feels like the hidden middle finger is really long~ xD

Tadaaaa...this is how it looks like~

Actually we're quite boring after seeing the same pattern of building for the whole day...just see and visit and see only really nothing better to do :X
my annoying face...I took of most of my thick clothing left only the long-john...imagine how warm izzit during the noon time~well, since nothing to do then we shall take more pictures!:D

Andy Lau's style portrait, looks so FAKE hahahas~a lil bit of EMO, then feel like crying but at the same time looks so funny xD

and YES, the dustbin there are differ from the normal ones, should take picture~

The WINNER of the day, the oldest tree award!! it's already more that 5 centuries woohooo~so NICE!

Oh yeah 冰糖葫芦!! how can you not try this?! I always saw this treats on TV but I never get to try it!! actually I've tried it before 7 years ago when I was in Harbin, but the that time was like -20, i can't even bite through it ><, so here's my second chance :) It was like so-so, should try those will strawberries and grapes one~

By the way, this "heavenly garden" is usually a place for wealthy old folks who are already retire to kill time. MOST of them gamble....zzzzz, some of them play chest, and what impress me the MOST are those old man that writes on the floor with water. Their writing NO JOKING damn NICE!! better than photocopy one!!

HO LIAO!!!

After dinner, we went to the BIRD NEST~
very foggy that night >< what a waste! Pictures all not very nice so just 1 will do :P

Then we went to experience the subway in Beijing, but 1 station only really zha dao"

so good I keep on take pictures for them so often but mostly camwhores for myself only~haiz, appreciate LOH :O

Okay maybe camwhores is good so that I can hide my FAT FAT body :X

Alriteeeee~that's the Day 2!
